About the Church #
A Russian-speaking Protestant Christian church in Novi Sad, gathering as a community since 2024. The community’s main emphases are a living faith, a thoughtful approach to Scripture, and practical care for one another.
The name carries a double meaning: Serbia is a “new territory” for Russian-speaking newcomers who find themselves in new circumstances and need mutual support; and faith in Jesus Christ is a new territory for those just getting acquainted with Christianity.
Format of fellowship:
- tea, conversations, networking
- everyone can share their opinion and experiences.
Sunday services are held in the Protestantska Hrišćanska Zajednica building (Bulevar Evrope 30). While parents attend the service, children spend time in a separate room — games, crafts, Bible stories.
Ministries and Gatherings #
In addition to Sunday services, the church runs:
- home groups;
- children’s, teen (“UPDATE”), youth (“UPGRADE”) and family ministries;
- a Russian–Serbian club and Serbian-language courses to help newcomers settle in;
- puppet-theatre ministry;
- volleyball and picnics;
- women’s breakfasts, a summer camp and an English camp.
